#BestLentEver – Day 29. Tired.

“What is God telling you today?”

I have often wondered what God is trying to tell me when I am having such a bad day. Most of time I feel that God is trying to teach me a lesson by letting things happen not according to how I planned it to be. It’s like He would purposely go out of His way to make things happen in the opposite direction. I sometimes don’t get it and sometimes I am just not in the mood and I tell God, “Not today please.”

Of course, God as loving as He is, knows what is best for His children. And as loving and caring as He is, His lessons might not be the things we like to hear. But we need to hear it.

So today, a not so typical work day, was one of hectic day. Rushes upon rushes of requests and ongoing emails and calls were driving me insane. I had no time to adjust and reassess my “best-version-of- yourself” temperature of the day so I had no idea how I was doing… until *light bulb moment* someone told me to breathe. Breathe because life is life, work is work, and everything will be okay.

Why am I always in the fast lane? I need time to breathe. Take some time to breathe and enjoy the colors of the day.

Daily, I seek the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to deliver the message of the Lord. I aim to reach out to the unreachable, and everyday I strive to live a holy life. I know I am not perfect but I know God's love is real. I am a Catholic, a pro-lifer without a doubt and I desire to live and love purely.
